At Charter Oak Unit, HHA To Study Health, Medical Need of Aged

The Hartford Housing Authority approved a project that focused on the medical and health needs of elderly people living in the charter Oak terrace project. The program starts March 1 and will work with the Hartford Health Department and various social welfare organizations. Daniel G. Lyons, HHA executive director, stated that the purpose of the interviews and examinations done with elderly people was to determine what medical care they needed that they were not currently receiving.
