Title

Sixth HART Congress to meet, leaving questions

Description

Bill Doak Writes again about the Hartford Areas Rally Together organization and their efforts to get together and vote on issues that they want to get to or work on in the next year. Some of the issues that they are looking to pursue are issues with policing, burglary, housing, and streets. Specifically with housing, they want to focus on issues like absentee landlords, code enforcement, abandoned buildings, harassment of tenants, and condo conversion. They are having some struggles getting candidates to run for the upcoming municipal election. One of the issues that they are trying to resolve within the meeting is for residents to attend more often by providing resources such as food and free childcare.
